This verse is so deep! I never would have thought about Manticore's version of sex ed, but I bet Alec's will be better!! (<< Shameless begging for more right there.)

I wanted Ben to innitiate the sex, and that got me to thinking about what he'd know...

Oh this was wonderful! I'm so glad you decided to continue the series and I hope you explore it even further. I'm such a sucker for broken!boys, especially when they have the power to make their lives better. Alec and Ben have the power to help each other. I love it.

All the transgenics really are like abused kids in some way, aren't they? There's a certain innocence to them that I love touching on.

They're definitely all like abused kids who have learned how to function in the world they're in. I find the mix of their vast knowledge of things Manticore taught them, and their utter innocence when it comes to the rest of the world, to be facinating.

I am so glad to see more of this! Very intresting where your taking it. How it's easier for them to find happiness and purpose away from everyone, that maybe there's a chance they can heal each other.
The way you write the bond between them (blood, manticore, brother) is amazing and feels so intimate.

I really wanted them to have a chance to get to know each other away from other people--I just hadnt planned on it being that far away. :)

This is great. I love how they find "freedom" in an unexpected way. And it was appropriate that Ben, who had never lived outside, who thought of it.

It pisses me off and makes me sick the way Ben was apparently (ab)used inside Manticore. Hopefully Alec can show him that sex should be about sharing and not just giving.

I think it's kinda funny, because Alec's views on sex and love and affection are pretty screwed up too. Just in different ways. But yeah. Should be fun.
