My grandmother died this morning.

My dad is currently butting heads with some of my aunts and uncles over funeral arrangements and I just want to Gibbs-slap the hell out of all of them.

And to top it off my wireless mouse died.

FML.

So, it's been about a week and somehow Grandma's still with us. I've been up to see her a few times. According to her doctor she's only got weeks left (though just how many weeks is anybody's guess); she's supposed to go home at some point with full-time hospice care ( Read more... )

It's been nine months since my grandfather went into the nursing home, and I think I'm finally starting to come to terms with the fact that he's going to be staying there permanently. I'm pretty much just taking it one day at a time and trying to visit him as often as I can, partially because he's still with it enough that he called me out on it ( Read more... )
