Autumn Bliss…

Every year starting in September, I check the weather every night just waiting to see this.
The first time the temperature dips below 70°… for me, that's the official start of fall.

Waiting for my October leaf color change so I can go to my favorite creek in the morning and after noon for photos... this year I am gonna do video too. Wish my drone controller was working but hey I still can shoot tripod video.
In the morning it has that morning fog rising with the rising sun shinning through, I have a tiny bag of feathers from my friends white bird that it shed that I plan to throw up and letting the float for a while for the pics and vids. I want a fantasy LOTR look

I plan to most definitely. My photography and video are 2 portions of my sanity.

That is absolutely ludicrously hot. Are you quite sure you've living in the right place? If I were you, I think I'd invest in a chest freezer to sit in at all times, and I'd only climb out to make my dinner and utilise the lavatorium!

Man, I'm a native Floridian. I'm absolutely in the right place. :D

It's not the heat so much as it is the humidity. When it's in the 90s (33-37°C) and the humidity is around 70-90%, it's like living in a sauna. Our weather is like that about 5 months out of the year, though we do get some relief from rainstorms.

Still, I'd much rather have heat than snow. I spent one winter in North Carolina, and seriously, I thought I was going to freeze to death!

I can't deny that I have a deep dislike for winter coldness and, indeed, everything about winter except for those rare occasions when we get a decent fall of snow. I love a bit of snow, but as Edinburgh is a low-lying seaside city, we don't often get it, and when we do, it usually melts immediately or lasts a couple of days at most. I demand to be snowed-in for weeks!

But yeah, it's the same here with regard to humidity. 70oF is an exceptionally hot day in Scotland, but we can't seem to get a pleasantly warm, sunny day without it being horribly sticky and sweaty. Going around in damp clothes with your hair sticking to your face isn't pleasant at all, is it?

It should be noted that we have great air conditioning, too. :)
