I'm just back online after nearly two weeks when my computer wouldn't connect. Apologies to anyone to whom I owe emails, I could connect with my phone but it's too fiddly to write on.

I've spent a lot of my free time lately reading in the file room The Circuit Archive, but I had to come out for a while to flat hunt etc. I think I have a buyer for my house :) It's not certain yet so anyone reading this please keep your fingers crossed! Real Life strikes again. The good thing is that at least I have a place to bury my head when 'life' happens. I do realise how lucky I am to have an obsess an interest to keep my mind off painfull stuff until it becomes less so. I wouldn't even know where to start with an update, so much has happened since I last posted, so I'll just go and read some fanfic instead and resolve to post more frequently in future!

annual leave etc.
I'm now off work until next Friday. Wonderful feeling! On Monday I'm going away with friends for a mid-week break which is great value, €99 pps for the three days. The catch is that it's in Carlow, a county of Ireland that I've never had any desire to visit, but I was talked into it. I'm bringing the new "tablet" so I'll be able to keep up ( Read more... ) -

Mine day was very peaceful thank goodness. I made dinner for Elder Son and his girlfriend on christmas Eve, and my daughter called in at 7am on Christmas morning, she's on shift work and was due on duty at ( Read more... ) -
ever the prodigal
I've been gone from LJ for the last few months, as I got distracted by RL.
Big. Mistake.
Still, I'm back now and will enjoy catching up on all the Pros loveliness that I've missed. I'm also in the process of selling my house, which will give me even less free time, but it does have the virtue of keeping ones mind occupied.
