Awwww Neal. I can't help but think that he must have been well-trained (he responds to Peter so well), but as you've pointed out, he got into bad habits. So either the dom who trained him then stopped bothering or his next dom didn't, because somewhere he learned that 'being good' didn't really get you any attention. I love that Peter would take the time and energy to find ways to train him back to the perfect sub he could be, and I bet he'd find a knock on effect in their daily life (it might well freak Peter out the first time he tells Neal to stay in the car...and he does

I live for long thinky comments. Longer the better. I've been pondering some longer WC BDSM fics of late but I've got a lot ahead of me and after last nights episode Peter and Neal have some serious cannon trust issues now.

I do think if they get over that they'd be good together. I can't help thinking that maybe it was Adler that Neal got into the habit of faking it for. If he was running a long con he might have done whatever it took to keep Adler happy.

I've not seen the finale yet, maybe later today or tomorrow (I have to d/l it first lol). Hell, if I was waiting for the UK to catch up, I'd be old and grey (we've had s1 on DVD but that's it). Hmm, it's certainly possible that Adler got him in that habit, but I prefer to think of it as Kate (I'm not a big fan of hers). I do think Neal was trained before the Adler con, so before he moved to NYC.

I highly support some longer WC BDSM fics *nods*. I've been trying to write some myself but my muse has ADD (I started 3 different fics in the last week and that's not including the prompt fills over at bdsm_fandom. I also can't get Mac/Neal or Mac/Neal/Abby out of my head now. *facepalms*.

Love these 2 ficlets. I'd love to see a more fleshed-out story. I'm halfway working on something with Keller as Neal's first male lover and Dom. The way that Keller goes after Neal - it's way personal.
