This is brilliant. I love seeing new takes on minor characters and McGowan really did need a bit of fleshing out IMHO. Add Hippie!Alan and this totally wins.

The ending is my favorite part. McGowan showing off his ignorance and Alan evilly delighting in it. Hee.
