I'm always sad for your stories to end. They make me want to move right in and stay. I adore the 'meet the family' trope enough that I'll read fandoms and pairings I wouldn't otherwise touch for it, so this pushes all my buttons in the best of ways.

You write such fantastic OC. I went and fell in love with Andrew. Emily would be a great grandmother to have. I like how you take all the characters who would have been the villian in a less sophisticated story, Frank and Colby's ex, and treated them like real people.

Ester and her weakness for blondes! When I first saw that there would be OFC/OFC I thought it was going to be Ester/Katie. It was nice to be surprised.

Thank you for taking the time to write! I'm always glad to see you pop up on the friendslist.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I do try to keep my OCs as three dimensional as I can. I feel like I'd be letting my regular readers down if I didn't.

I gotta say, I've really enjoyed this whole trip to Idaho. I'm from a small town too, complete with the old-fashion hick relatives and you captured that really nicely without going over the top with cliches. Well done.

My dad's from a small town so every time we visit the relatives it's an interesting exercise in tollerance on both sides.

Glad you liked the story and thank you for commenting.

I'm sad to see this ended. :(
but everyone was happy and a bit more understanding of both Winchester & what lies outside the town's boundary lines. it was a lovely lovely read.

What a wonderful story! Sure you could go on with it, and I'll be first in line to read the further adventures of the Granger-Eppes clan, but honestly if you leave it here it is a great place to wrap up the series. Esther is a wonderfully realized person, and I enjoyed seeing how much love is still there for Charlie and Colby after all that time has passed. I know with Charlie and Colby on deck, Andy is going to be okay whether he gets redeployed or not, and I love how you kept Frank in character as the backwater redneck but allowed him some personal growth too.

I don't have much by way of insight at this stage, just commenting to let you know how much I loved reading this. ♥

In the first plan the story ended on the 4th but I got there and realized that there was still story to tell.

And Andy will be okay. I'll to another 18 months and it'll be a little rough but he'll manage to move forward with his life.

As always thank you so much for the feedback and the love.
