Thanks. I thought a little comedy would work here.

you get over it," Ian calmly smiled "or just go insane."

And he's kinda done both at this point, hasn't he?

I'm impressed with that kid's bravery! Heh.

Yeah, Ian's kinda run from one end to the other and back.

Ah, the surreal life... I was waiting for this one: when Ian's work life and school life truly meet head to head the first time.

The teachers never give him shit for being late again. And are very tactful about their critiques.

LOL! At first glance I read that as "tactical". /grins/

And yeah, I'd think anyone who knew what Ian did for a living would tread lightly around him.

Hell, anyone who MET Ian face to face would do so!

It's a bit of a balance because he wants strong critique. All his schooling has been via nuns, military or law enforcement. He's used to people telling him he sucks, doing a hundred push ups then trying again. This whole modern caring sensitive education weirds him out a bit.

its just occuring to me how in this little series of yours (HA) you've had me clutching my chest in anguish, lips dry from bated breath of the smut, and my side hurting from laughter.

this does not surprise me, perse...

but i felt as though it was worth mentioning.

Well thank you. I like knowing people are getting more visceral reactions from my writing.

" 'I’ve killed someone then gone to Disneyland. Almost killed someone in Disneyland'"

Yeah, that's my reaction to Disneyland too.
