Did someone out there come over to my house and take my clothes line out of the ground for fun?

I am freaking out a bit here - my clothes line is on the ground and there is evidence of someone having walked around.

I was going to say something in a similar vein...
does your clothesline affect your neighbour's view, or could it potentially, in any way, bother him? If so, I'd say he's your prime suspect.
I'd say, call the cops to report the vandalism. Probably, nothing will come of it, but if it was your neighbour & they do anything further, at least you'll have a prior history.

of course, I too hope that's not it at all. :-/
