ngl, I'm into Kiki Delaine (the actress)-first in this guilty I-love-your-face is-this-reaction-going-to-be-stupid kind of way, but having seen ep 2, I feel like it's going to pay off. I want to know everything. Will tweak if I don't get it, will feel terribly silly about it, but for the time being I'm trusting Abi Morgan, tentatively. In a "redeem yourself for the first dead blonde (and don't make me feel bad about loving her angles)" way, you know?

And: Marnie, this season! Marnie! Second ep is BATSHIT good to her, oh my days. And my taste for Bel/Freddie (on their own, as opposed to PERFECT OT3) has skyrocketed now that they're tragic and on cracking feelingsy ice, bless that certain aesthetic strain of 60s repression. Annnnnnd LIX. Need to know everything, need her to GET everything, ergo Lix/Randall is gold, and he's Peter Capaldi, and this show is a plethora of gifts.

RAMI MALEK IS NOT IN TWILIGHT, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. I've already seen gifs of Lee Pace's scruff and stupid hair and it tempts something awful, it does.

her face is bloody fantastic (there's that one shot where she's standing in front of three mirrors or something, and she's all cut glass and cheekbones and it hurt my eyes). ugh, I'm hopeful now - I need to get a working link of episode two, because I do want to know more (which is more than I can say about the first dead blonde whose position in the narrative just straight up irritated me).

Yesss, all I wanted was more Marnie, and god she's stunning.

Bel/Freddie on their own is so great this season because they are in right state now and I actually desperately want them to fuck now that it'll be adultery, bless. YES, Lix and Randall, I just. I have a lot of feelings about them and that pin tack wall.

I'm not even lying, when he showed up, I yelped in the cinema and it was a problem. He is a weird elemental spirit vampire person but god, his face and voice and face. Him and Lee are tempting but I wish I hadn't had to pay for it, frankly, ha.
