I think it's because I'm watching it with older eyes now. When I was 19 years old....Clark didn't seem that YOUNG to me when he was in high school. He felt like a peer. Now, my 28 year old eyes are watching the earlier seasons and I'm considering reporting Lex to the authorities as a potential sexual predator. The investment that Lex had in Clark's life in the early seasons is....very inappropriate.

Lmao! Yeah, I was about 14 when I first started watching Smallville (in season 4) and I never thought anything of it when I'd go back and watch the early episodes. Now I'm 21 and giving Lex some side-eye for that particular life choice. Lol.
I might, might, rewatch the occasional SV episode. It will be few and far between, and not coming up for a while yet. I'm more likely to rewatch clips of my fave scenes on YouTube than ever sitting down to watch as a whole. I mean, I'm even getting rid of my DVD sets.
Off the top of my head, Checkmate is the only ep I would fully watch, unless I got into a Doomsday mood.
Beyond that: the closing scene in Hex, the trunk scene in Masquerade, bits of Fortune, Chloe's breakdown scene in Stiletto, opening & closing scenes of Beast. Oh, and Justice. :) I think I'm done now.

My journal has been quiet lately as well. But sometimes I wake up in the morning with a sudden need to go and meta and share my feelings with the world.

X-Men is still on my 'to watch' list. Hopefully I can drag someone to go see it with me this week. I've only heard good things so I'm excited, even if I've never see the other movies. I saw Green Lantern and while it wasn't perfect, I actually enjoyed the movie.
I have two (possibly three) big bangs to work on and two Smallville fics that I owe people (oy, Professor Kent and post-finale fic) and I am struggling to summon the energy and focus to write a single word. This is me in a nutshell. You have no idea

Aw, thanks! Yes, I'm over that now and I'll be sure to give a heads-up. I'm moving my stories to A03 bit by bit, so at least most of them will be up there if I do give up the LJ ghost. Plus, we'll see each other on Tumblr! Although, now I'm feeling the need to come back to LJ because Tumblr as a medium is just really annoying for many reasons.
I don't think I can bring myself to watch GL, I just can't handle anything I've seen so far. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. Tell me what you think of X-Men when you get to it!
