Thank you! :D I should really get on with TDS, though I'll need to figure out a schedule for editing and posting, and I'm wondering about the posting in particular, since this one's essentially finished... a chapter a week seems to be common, but I have no idea how that's regarded or if there is a better posting schedule?
A chapter a week sounds good to me. (It worked for RAFA, which is the only experience I have posting-wise, and that, too, was done but for the editing of the last few chapters.) Maybe twice a week if you're comfortable, but that's pushing my boundaries-- especially on SWG with the Most Recent box. I also don't mind once a fortnight, but for a story that's pratically done, anything longer than that annoys me. (All my opinions! Feel free to disregard them.)
Yes, the SWG Most Recent page is a special case. I wouldn't have so many qualms updating more frequently on sites with more traffic (I did for the Winterlights collection on AO3, whereas on SWG the idea was to bulk-update), so once a week sounds like an idea (I'd be too impatient for once every two weeks - the story is 20 chapters long as of now and I might split that up further while editing, so that would take a while.) Thanks for the opinions! ^^
I did not realize so much of The Darkest Season was written already--or, if I did, I had forgotten! I hope you manage to continue posting it. I had become really engaged with those three characters.
I may have mentioned it as my project every now and then, but don't think I ever very much discussed it outside some private conversation, so I'm really not blaming you for not knowing. :) It will be posted at some point this year, at any rate, and Asgarvain and Handrin say thank you for your interest, while Hwestonnen was grumbling something that I didn't quite catch. ;)
