Lady is safely ensconced at friend S.'s house. Her dog, June, is not the happiest over having a new (if temporary) housemate, but S. did fostering for rescue groups for a long time, so June's used to having strange dogs in the house now and then ( Read more... )

Started Lady on the Benadryl today. I couldn't find 50 mg pills, but I did find 25 mg pills, so I gave her two. She took them great--she's always been good with taking medicine. All I have to do is have her sit; and as soon as I grab her top jaw, she opens her mouth fine and lets me drop the pills into the back of her throat. She'll swallow ( Read more... )

We've found a doggie daycare/boarding service that only charges $9/day, but includes personal care, playtime, etc. The downside? We found it via a search site, and they have no website or phone number listed. I can't find them on Google or yellowpages.com or even in the phone book.
