The last time I made a New Years resolution, I resolved to never make another resolution. Funny, that's the only one I ever kept...

However, I do make New Years hopes. Here are some of my hopes and anticipations concerning the new year

Happy New Year's!

There was a story on the local news a few weeks ago about a dog and her litter of puppies rescued from a crawlspace of a house up for sale. It wasn't abuse, but somehow the mother had wedged herself in and couldn't get out. But anyway, one of the puppies looked just like what I imagine Lady must've looked like at the same age, and thought of you.

She would've been a very cute puppy. All in all, though, I'm glad I didn't meet her till she was mostly past puppyhood, because it still took her a couple years to get past being a holy terror!

Oh my! The puppy on TV seemed like a sage little thing, since she was actually able to get out of the crawl space but the mother wasn't. And apparently the puppies are the ones who were noticed first, trying to attract attention to their stuck mom!
