My new favorite holiday!

For Substitute Teacher Appreciation Day, I got a card, cookies, and a kid carrying a taser pen.

Thank God for a week off.

Taser pen???
Yeesh. In my day we just threw wadded up paper (or in the boys' case, spitballs) at subs we didn't like.

Luckily the kid wasn't trying to use it on me. He was (furtiveness fail) showing it off to a friend right before the bell, so I didn't get to confiscate the thing. I did, however, get to go to the office and complain about it before signing out.
