When I went to a Southern Baptist Church, I had no power of attention during sermons. I would either fall dead asleep and drool everywhere, or I doodled over all the things and tune in and out of what the pastor was saying. This made me smile. It reminds me of the forms of entertainment we had in our own family, like snickering over typos in the church bulletin or making puns based on the hymns. Evenmy mom, who is religious, was an active participant in the shenanigans.

Hee. It was just me and my sister going at this time. We were never big on it, but my sister's friends roped her in. I think our church did not so much appreciate the shenanigans.
