American "Family" Association decides to boycott Google, as well as continuing to boycott Oreos. Good luck with that!In other news, I just had to wrap my cat up in a towel and sit on her* to get her to let me apply her dental spray. Miss Kitty is almost as bad, because she's slippery as a worm, but I manage to get her without her going fucking nuts ( Read more... )

Oh rly? XD But really good luck to the "AFA" with making Oreos and Google go out of business. Meanwhile I'm going to look up everything I need and eat the cream out of the middle of an Oreo and laugh in their faces because their kids will hate them for not letting them eat Oreos and I can eat them all I want.

Does that mean that AFA won't put anything on YouTube anymore? Ever? EVER NEVER? They should also make it a blanket policy not to email anyone with a gmail address. And they should make it so that their website doesn't show up on Google searches. Just to be thorough, they should tell all of the people that they're in line with to make sure that that happens to their websites too. I fully support this boycott of theirs.

I expect anti-equality activists will suddenly become much worse spellers. Srsly, Google is the best spellcheck out there.

Dental spray for a cat sounds like most horrific torture for the human caretaker ever. o.o Clipping their claws is bad enough most times, and they want us to spray something in their mouth? Yikes!

Congrats on getting it done. ^^ How often do you have to do it?

Supposedly daily. I'll see how their teeth start looking, then I might give them some days off from the spray.

Oh dear... O.O

I suppose it would preclude the purpose of the spray to also give them treats for having it done? I've found my cats can learn to tolerate most obnoxious things (though not without protest still) as long as they know there's a treat at the end still.

Either that or ambush them when they're asleep. Catch them before they're awake and it's amazing what you can do in those few seconds before they realize it.

I've been giving them a treat afterward. The "dental" treats, which the like and I kind of doubt spend enough time in hteir mouths before they inhale them to actually clean anything. I think Miss Kitty will learn, and Yume will fight me forever.
