I went into this week's episode expecting nothing, and I got nothing, so I was happy. I'm actually kind of glad we got a break from heavy dramatic episodes and got a stupid fluffy non-episode for a week.

Are we supposed to like Finn? I'm so confused at this point.

Other member's in Glee? Pay attention to Kurt's storyline? Why would they do that?

You could watch the behind the scenes for next week's ep. It's making me smile to the point where I doubt the actual episode will be able to live up to it.

I just watched a clip on k_b and am not impressed with Mark and Cory's acting, or whatever they were doing. I wonder if CM is afraid to do a real Kurt Voice for fear of offending CC.

Well, RM wants to use Finn in this episode to have him tell everyone that RACHEL IS REALLY SPECIAL AND I LOVE HER AND YOU SHOULD LOVE HER AND SHE'S THE BEST

(this may be the theme for the rest of the season, which will probably make me puke a lot)

They don't really care about Kurt. OR they wouldn't let Santana openly mock the gay boys right in front of them.

What I don't get is, if they were going to LIE about the ballots, how does letting the straight white couple be prom king and queen change fuckall? Why didn't they just make Brittany prom king?

I kind of want to rewatch the last year's episode now. It was so much better written.

The clip is okay, the behind the scenes is GOLD. (CC hit CM when he tried to do an impression of him. I don't think CM actually COULD do a real Kurt voice ( ... )

I saw that. Hee! I might watch it again. It'll make me smile, despite this terrible paper I'm working on.

Rachel is the underdog, didn't you know? Even though her boyfriend is the quarterback, her parents are rich, and she gets all the solos.

I think Whoopi was just giving her a hard time because she had to start over twice and she wanted to make a point to Rachel. She gave Kurt a whole song, and that was probably more than sixteen bars. But I think the major point is they didn't even bother to google anything for this entire plotline of going to college. So they suck.

So Kurt could have done a number in German in the nude?

Glee doesn't glee many people anymore. I'm almost glad Chris Colfer won't be on the show after this season, because the ONLY reason it holds my interest anymore is because of him and Darren being wonderful together. Sorry, Darren, I love you too, but the show will suck too much without Chris.

I HATE RACHEL. I was GLAD when she failed her audition--finally, Rachel "The World Revolves Around Me" Berry didn't get her way! But rather than have even the toughest characters (i.e. Santana) tell her "Buck up, there are other places to go and become a professional diva," people rush to make her feel special all over again. Frankly, aside from her huge ego and great voice, I never saw what was so all-fired special about her anyway. Buh-bye, Berry.

(Going to watch that Behind the Scenes now.)

Some people didn't know yet that Kurt would be back next season. That was it. Also, there are rumors that Sarah Jessica Parker will be doing something with CC. Or she'll just be there, who knows. I haven't read the actual spoilers, just people discussing them.

I love Rachel to death, and was actually all weepy about her getting to be prom queen. So it works for some people ( ... )

Hmm. Her kind of person, I guess my sore spots regarding Quinn is the way I feel like she goes out of her way to step on others and maybe even enjoy it. I don't get that feeling with Rachel, with her I more see it as being a teenager and not really thinking things through, and she has redeeming scenes that I buy, whereas Quinn to me seems to bounce back into another similar scheme. (Weird thing how I'm discussing Quinn as if she's a real predictable person when she's two guys possibly trying not a lot to keep her in character...)
A gut thing? If Rachel was my friend, I would keep my eyes on her, but in the end, I would trust her, but Quinn, besides the fact I'm totally the high school geek she'd bully, hah, I would never trust. I would even trust Santana more, because while Santana is a bitch, what you see is what you get. Quinn to me is so exhaustingly wily.

Four more pages. You can do it. Add to sentences and reward yourself and think of puppies.

I remember Quinn being that way in the beginning of the first season, but I'd be hard pressed to think of an example since then of her hurting people on purpose and enjoying it. (Though your point about dudes writing her and not giving a crap about continuity is particularly pointed since they've thrown thirty random plots at her since they had nothing to do with her after getting her pregnant ( ... )

For me, it was a combo of last year's prom episode being more coherent in it's story-telling and Finn coming across as spectacularly douchey this week.

However, I loved what they showed of the Becky/Puck anti-prom stuff. I could have gone for more of that and less of the Finchel drama.

Agreed. If they'd decided to give the queenship to Becky, and shown Rachel being happy for her or something, I might've given more of a crap.

I would really have liked more anti-prom. I refuse to believe that only five kids wanted to do their own thing with alcohol instead of going to another stupid school dance that fluffs the ego of the rich and popular. (I'm kind of anti-prom... I went in a renaissance style dress, then left to go play hide and seek in Walmart, then watch Carrie at my house with my sister and friends.)
