I had such hopes for this episode. How they let Mr. String and Metal bikini stay is BEYOND me. I sorta liked the other dress, it reminded me of Degas ballerinas. Either way, they got rid of the bitchy model so it's all good.

Yeah, I didn't like the guy who had the ballerina dress, so I'm not bovvered that he's gone, but I didn't think it was uglier than some of the other ones (like the one that had immunity. GOD.). I just thought it was sort of plain when it came down to it.

I felt bad for String Bikini man. What kind of budget did they give them that he couldn't buy washers and wire? He should have gone for skirt in something else and done the top with his weird thingie.

(What is this 'game' the models are playing with each other? It's not like they're able to control who gets kicked off in ANY way! Agreed on the model who left. She was irritating.)

String bikini man didn't plan properly and then lied to the judges and they bought it. I'll tell you though, THIS was the challenge to have immunity on! I usually like Seth Aaron but his outfit was BAD.

There IS no game the models are playing. She was just crazy and bitchy. The models have no control over their fates since they are picked by the designers. I had no idea what kind of bullshit she was babbling but I'm glad her passive-aggressive horse face is gone.

I dunno. I've seen them lecture forever if a designer tries to make excuses, but I think it was a gamble to admit that he'd planned that. They'll nail you if they think you don't have taste, which that outfit… man. If he doesn't do something spectacular next week, I think he'll be next out of there. I think one of the judges spoke up for him.

I should learn these people's names. This was the challenge to have immunity on. Though, that guy who made the leather pants out of trash bags? I remember Stella trying that and failing miserably. There was some dedication there.

Yeah, I get the feeling from the other models that they're like," WTF is wrong with you?" toward her.

I love the fat rants girl. True story: I was in a movie with her. She wasn't a lead or anything, just in a group scene we did at the end. Then she went on to do this and I recognized her. It was an indie with a heavy focus on fat acceptance. If you want to check the movie out, it's called Disfigured.

Hee! That's pretty cool. I'll see if I can find it.

I only have a wee part in it, but it was a nice experience (and I love the writer/producer). Plus the fat acceptance group scenes are a mess of "Hey, it's that (fat) girl!" I was kind of wowed to be filming with these ladies I recognized from so many shows.

It's a strange concept, a fat woman and an anorexic woman finding a bond, but then it makes sense. They both have such love/hate relationships with their bodies.

ETA: Chenese Lewis from the "staircase wit" vid was in the movie, too. I think every fat actress in Cali was in that movie.

i like that girl. it's so true about looking back at photos from when i was a teenager and thinking how tragic it was that i thought i was huge, when i looked wonderful. it'd help now if i knew how to dress, like joy does. all those beautiful clothes!
