Wow -- Lionel having that mind-control ability makes PERFECT sense, while simultaneously making him even more terrifying than before. Very logical, too, that Lucas should have had the power to see probabilities, and at least we now know what happened to him. *shudders* Lex is great here, being brave even as he's desperately missing Clark, and worrying more for his daughter and the other prisoners than for himself. I love Clark's worry and desire to protect Lex, and his proposal was just beautiful. Now, if the good guys can just figure out a way to defeat the MB and Brainiac.... *flails* Fantastic chapter!
Hee! Thank you very much. Lionel coerces too many people to not have an ability. Oh, Lex. He can't help but be heroic. Thank you for reading, and for your feedback.
For some reason I missed this chapter. *sob* The tension is so thick. Poor Lex. Poor Clark. Lionel is just to creepy. What a sicko. I look forward to his and Lana's comeuppance. Of course, with this revelation of Lionel's abilities, makes me wonder how much he influenced Lana. Drats!
Clark, hurry! Hurry! Lex needs you. You know, I'm looking forward to what Lex will do to Lionel once he is freed. I'm on pins and needles!
That's a relief! It was *agony* thinking that there might be a reason besides her being selfishly self centered for the way she acted. *running off to plot her downfall*

He didn't have to influence her much. Well, beyond buying her stuff and feeding her what she wanted to hear.
