Sounds like you had a fairly horrific day. Is there any way you can talk to superiors at work about getting you more help? Or would that just make things worse?

I'm not even gonna *ask* what was on your mind to read labia instead of tropical. =P

I'm thinking Clark doesn't know much, but if he's curious and has an internet connection...

At this point, I don't really know. There's this supposed "open door" policy, but I've only been here a week so I don't want to be the complainy one (of course, maybe that's why they can't KEEP people). I'm just trying to stick it out for a few months until I go back to school anyway. I have to keep telling myself that I can do this for a little while.

I misread things in sexual ways all the time. It's a gift.

I had this amusing image of naive!Clark and amused!Lex wherein Clark is trying to get Lex to explain gay sex to him when he doesn't know ANYTHING about it. So Lex either attempts to explain without being crude, or tells him to fucking google it. Clark might also ask the faghag extrordinaire Chloe because it seems like she'd know all about that too. I bet she writes slash.

Be brave, try to make it through a couple of months there, but if it really starts to kill you, quit!

I'm having a hard time trying to picture Lex not being crude, just to shock Clark. It would certainly be an amusing conversation, anyway. I've read at least one story where Chloe writes slash, couldn't tell you the title or anything. But she's pretty cool and with it, I bet she at least knows it exists.

Hmm... I think Lex WOULD enjoy Clark's shocked expressions when he gets into the details...
