Meet Cookie. My lovable, eighteen month old puppy who loves people just as much as she loves sweets. She can care less for dog bones and human food, but when you open up a bag of candy or chips or cookies, she goes NUTS! Thanks grace! How is your momma doing? I keep her in prayers all the time.

Cookie is stable. She's incredibly lucky.. no spinal injury, no brain injury, no broken bones or internal bleeding! With the type of injury she's sustained (instead of being side-swept she was hit directly on top of her head/neck area) it's a surprise she's doing okay. The only thing is, she's not eating or drinking (is on IV right now) and isn't standing/walking yet. Granted, it's only been 24 hrs since being admitted, but I was hoping for more I guess. the 3 of us cant sleep or concentrate - we just worry about her. I can't even think about my dad right now... he's a whole different issue/story and i just don't have the energy to deal with him ugh!

Oh man cookie is one tough cookie! haha (sorry lame joke) but man she is very lucky... hopefully tomorrow she'll be able to move around after she gets lots and lots of rest. I prayed for her and your family this morning after I read your fb... but I hope that you and your fam get some rest and some very good news soon! And as for your dad.. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.. I'm sure hes feeling shitty for what he did... if you want revenge you can always call peta on him ( ... )

well luckily after some time he agreed to pay for the $1700 bill. (this was after i told him putting her to sleep is NEVER an option.) cookie is doing better she's still depressed but at least she's eating and drinking a lil. its just she throws up a lot and cant really walk around as much since she's so dizzy from the meds, so we carry her around a lot. and when she gets carried she throws up. its like taking care of a kid, no joke.

hopefully everything with your mom goes well.. didnt u say that it wasnt invasive? thats too funny she cares so much about it cramping her style hahah!
