That was so sweet! I'm so glad everything was cleared. Now the healing can begin. * sniffles/blows nose * Wonderful.. Simply wonderful!

Its good to know that they tried to find her all this time and that they were protecting her as best as possible. :)

* twirls around like a nut *

as i said previously, Dare needed to heal. her anger was kind of way out of control. and discussion with Gin led me to believe that it would go a long way toward helping if she dealt with how she felt about her parents.

there were so many ways this could have gone and, originally, i think i'd considered having things remain kind of crappy. but her mother didn't want to let that happen. and then Tristan popped up. (yes, he's a mutant, too) so that's how it went.

i'm really glad you enjoyed it. i think it makes for a more stable Dare. not necessarily nicer, but more stable.

Great piece of work, hun! Great to see Dare dealing with her shit. ;) And glad I wasn't the one that had to write it this time. LOL

There are some very beautiful moments in here, hun. You did a wonderful job! :)

thanks, sweetie. yeah. it was past time she dealt with her shit. healthy mental state and all that. guess she did some growing up, huh?

i would never make you deal with this much of her shit, hon. you know that. (damn it! now i have to go read that bit again)

i guess i portrayed a slightly more mature Dare here, didn't i? despite the way everything came about, i think having Dee was maybe the best thing for her at the time.

glad you enjoyed it.
