I am loving Dumbledore's appearances in this. Too much fun.

And, damn, the child could be one of the Malfoy's couldn't it? Hadn't thought of that. Of course, I doubt it is, but still....

surprisingly, in later chapters, he gets along with her father quite well. but no. not a good way to meet the prospective in-laws. still, even after that performance, her parents treat him better than her brothers do.

you know, i can't say who i had more fun with. Kendra, once she settled into being herself, was great when i wanted to do something rotten to people because she's naturally mischievous. Morgaine, who takes mother hen to the extreme. or Aengus, who is this big, big bear of a man. of the teddy variety. and there are reasons for Dumbledore's appearances in this.

as for the baby, you've already met her. so you can probably answer your own question.

i think the idea of a child frightens him more than having feelings for a woman does. so he's dealing with it the only way he knows how. by solidly placing the blame elsewhere.
