i suppose she is. never really thought about it, actually.

this isn't a between the chapters type deal. in my mind, this is set after the story is finished. but that's hard to actually back up or anything since there isn't any actual mention of timelines or dates or anything in the main story. so... i see it as an after the story is over story. but that's just me.

glad you enjoyed, honey.

This fic strangely fits my mood of late. At least they got to shake off their funk at the end. A lovely bit of storytelling as usual, my dear.

this year has been a really bad one for holiday spirit. you're not the only one suffering from lack of Christmas joy or anything.

glad you enjoyed, honey.

This is good. Really good. I would expect the first round of holidays to be all bittersweet. So many things, little and big to remind them that Anita used to be there. And the ending leaves me with a combination of "Awww" and anticipation for what happens after they have their bedtime story.

I love it, sweetie. Thanks a bunch. I can't think of anything more that I could have wanted in this fic. Merry Christmas!

i literally had nothing come to mind when i looked at the prompt. except for that first line and i think i had meant this to be silly and fun. but then Jason got all mopey on me and it took an entirely different twist. i kind of just ran with it and this is what came out.

i'm glad you liked it because i was really kind of concerned about it. unsure and wondering if i should have bothered at all.

Merry Christmas.
