I would have characterized these last two chapters of TRC as "nerve-wracking," personally, so maybe I don't even want to know what you would consider "exciting." ^_^ Hooray for Subaru and Doumeki's grandfather.

Oh my god, you're right about Kurogane. I'm freaked out right now. Shinaide Fai! Shinaide!! TRC has gotten so intense...I love it.

I will stop my own incoherent fangirling now. Thanks for the scans!!

See, the last two chapters (122 and 123) were kind of drab to me. But maybe I was just cranky without my xxxHolic. >> But they seemed like they built up to 124 in a very roundabout way. And that annoys me. So I'm glad we have things happening again.

And I can't wait to see what kind of thing Kurogane's willing to do to save Fay. Can't wait.

Hooray Doumeki Haruka and Subaru! They're both so very lovely. XD

Yay! Doumeki's Grandfather! Ah....Haruka-sama. =__= They're both so cool. And with this chapter and the non-bursting balloon (I'm pretty sure it's that same one...), I'm so hoping we get more of Osofu-sama. That would be the best ever. And Kohane-chan came back to give Watanuki his umbrella! So cute. My goodness I love Kohane-chan. And Osofu-sama. Love.

And yes, Subaru finally appeared. How long have we been anticipating this? Far too long. I'm actually pretty glad it's the TB version of Subaru. He's so little and precious.
