Aren't kitties the best nurses ever? They know when their people need them and are happy to oblige.

Glad to hear surgery went smoothly. Will you have any restrictions? Like, diet or exercise? (I'm totally ignorant about gallstones)

Once I'm healed, I should have no more restrictions than I already had from the gastric bypass.
