Congrats on the return of your baby!

I'm just wasting time tonight, if you'd like to join me!

Would've done, but was at my friends' house, wasting THEIR time.

Hope you enjoyed your time well wasted!

ok so this has nothing to do with your car...but...

the chicago rocky cast did a pirate theme night. have y'all done that yet? it might be a thought. at the end...riff was in a pirate's baseball uniform instead of the golds. frank was dressed as a captain, etc. check out the RHPScast community

We haven't done that yet, although our next show (July 21) is Disney-themed, and there are whispers that a certain Captain might make an appearance ...

There is a Pirate-themed RH convention at the end of this month, though, hosted on board the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Looking very forward to that!

If you're a Delphi forum member, may I suggest the "No More Debt!" forum, and the "Living on Less" forum? The No More Debt Forum bases its philosophy of getting and staying out of debt on Dave Ramsey's philosophy (which includes NOT using credit cards at all, if you can help it).

And congrats about the last minute loan!

Yay for Mr. Cruiser! I named my car: "Piece of Sh!t", but then... :)

Actually this morning it started making an odd noise when accelerating, so I am *praying* the tranny isn't deciding to kick the bucket. I'm the original owner, and it only has 85,000 miles on it (ha!). I jsut spent $610 on it getting new brakes. *sigh*

Maybe your good-car-luck will rub off on me! ;)

Well, be warned: my good car-ma came about afte Iforked over $1,700 in repair.

Nonetheless, I recommend getting that odd noise checked out. My car had been chugging a little, and I had plans to take it in on Saturday. The transmission kicked on Thursday.

Aren't you funny?! :) My husband's out of town, I'm barely able to get my kids back and forth from camp/daycare (actually this week my niece is watching them) and I work from 9 - 7 and am out of the house from 8 - 8. *sigh* I need to be cloned!! I can't figure out how to get car to said mechanic and then back with everything I've got going on...

That is an issue, most definitely. When does your husband come back into town?
