ALL THE THOUGHTS.

Sep 29, 2011 20:57

I'm in a bit of a Hyperbole-and-a-Half mood tonight. I got home and I was like: I shall blog and post ALL THE THOUGHTS. But I know me, and I know that half-way through writing the gargantuan post I was planning on writing, I'll give up and move on to something else, but let's try and get the important stuff out of the way first, shall we ( Read more... )

I figure that filming sex scenes while pregnant is a huge hassle, so I'm not really expecting much until they return from the hiatus either.

Heya! Did you get the email I sent you -- wow, been almost a month ago -- re: deleting my old lj and creating this one solely for the purposes of being filtered in and leaving comments. Anyway -- oh, yeah, I'm at risk of being That Person who babbles and babbles and babbles on an answering machine and doesn't leave a phone number -- it's Alicia aka Elsie. I'm kinda hoping most people don't find my new account; I'm keeping the invites to a minimum (long story, I shall tell you on IM if you want).

And ... in the interests of NOT just wandering in to your lj to babble about myself -- I read all of your post, and since we haven't talked a great deal lately, it was pretty much all news to me. I'm very glad you're gainfully employed (I mean, as in with someone who's paying you a living wage so you don't have the hassle of all the work and none of the means to live anyway). And that you're thinking of regular publishing. You're too good to settle for online publishing. I mean, if you find an online publisher that's a perfect fit for ( ... )

1. I am glad the higher powers are looking after you both in locking you out of the house when needed and in letting you find employment somewhere that is a better fit than what you were previously finding.

3. You know the saying about doors and windows. I have faith that one way or the other things will work out. You're an awesome author and eventually, even the boneheads in traditional publishing will take notice.

For myself life is too ridiculous to get into at the moment.

Glad to see you posting :)

I would have commented on Bones and The Senator in the Scarecrow but I grew cold when I read the paragraph about your father's .45. I have watched my sister, not get over, she'll never do that, but struggle to find a way to deal with a friend ending her life in a very violent way. I believe that those who try to take care of it, as you put it, know it will hurt the people close to them they leave behind. That it still does not stop them have nothing to do with selfishness, as some suggests, it shows what a serious illness depression is.

Good luck with your writing. I'm in no position to tell people to hurry up with their WIP fanfic, I haven't updated my own for personal, RL reasons. But when you update Scarecrow, I'll read.
