This was lovely to read and so well done.
You nailed these two: their voices, their personalities, their friendship and how each of them have changed through it all.
Lovely.
Thank you for this.

I think friendship is one of those concepts that we don't pay enough attention to, because most of our focus is on romantic relationships, you know? Which is sad.
Thank you for such a great comment!

I like your choice events from the show you build on to illustrate their friendship and the parts you created yourself, the meeting and the phone call, fit in beautifully. Their meeting feels like it could have been and already at when Angela phones she seems to have worked out part of what Brennan is like and just goes with it.
Interesting how Angela considers the color grey to be the color of pain. It makes sense, yet it adds to the story. I like how her painting "bookends" your fic.

Angela strikes me as a very intuitive person -- and extremely laid back about most things. To the point where she can just roll with things. Which is basically what Brennan needs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and noticing all of the little details. That's always extremely gratifying for an author!

Another thing I find fascinating is how it's often the parts you debate about including or not that readers seem to like.
Another thing I forgot to mention is how much I loved the sentence Angela falls asleep laughing. It paints a great picture and captures Angela all at once.
