I love your grasp on Jack and the life he's lived and I love the fragmentary nature of the story and all the events you included (and the timey-wimey!). It was beautiful. I read this when it was f-locked and didn't comment. But this second read through was just as rewarding. This was a lovely, lovely fic. I loved the scenes of his early life, because we just don't have enough of them.

He loved until loving was his hallmark, and when he finally died, he did so out of love.

I think Jack's early life must have been fascinating. It's one of those things where I wish I had more time and more energy to devote to stuff like this because I honestly could have written a multi-chapter fic out of this idea.
