e_e;; I understand your unease, delving into the Kuroshitsuji fanfic world. I'm trying to beat out something of my own but I keep getting busy. But you had no reason to be uncertain. =D This is really good!
I like how it's very short and sweet, brusque and to the point but not without detail. I also like how it leads up to be something very loving--and yet, with the last line, it still has this bittersweet feel of foreshadowing. Because, nevertheless, despite whatever happens while he is alive, despite not being alone--because of the contract he made, even after he dies, he will never be alone. Perhaps in a...different way than that when he is alive.
That line just gives this sensation of Hey, everything is okay, baby, rest, but there's a thunderhead on the horizon. Which is an awesome balance for their relationship because even so, it can still be looked at as purely loving and comforting.
