Well, it is official.

I am sick.

This is my first illness post stem cell transplant so I guess I held out for quite a while.

Still really sucks. Especially when I have so much to do.

I'm sorry to hear you're sick! Are you taking it easy at home? Take care of yourself, first and foremost. You'll get better soon. It's unbelievable how well you've done so far, so it was bound to happen. Just stay away from anyone with flu-like symptoms. It's nasty out there!

Unfortunately, I have not the time or the pocketbook to stay home and rest up. I'm at work. And when I get off work I'm supposed to go shopping with my grandmother. Maybe she'll let me reschedule though since I'm sick. I like that idea... Then I can write my cover letter and finish revising my resume instead.

I'm sure your grandma would totally reschedule. Just hack a little phlegm into your hand and show it to her....

so, i would still love to come and visit you, but you'll have to let me knwo what is good for you. i'm contemplating going to the rose bowl, but i'm not sure that's such a reality. i am free after the 23rd to play, so if that is an okay time with you, fantabulous. and i can amuse myself while you're at work, so don't worry about me. hugs, amy

(finals will be done on monday, internship done on wednesday, then i can find my smile again)

Hey there...sorry to hear that you're sick. It seems EVERYONE here is sick. These damn temp. changes are killing us. One day it's up in the upper 60's, and down in the lowers 40's at night. ACK!!! And havin a roommate from India does not help--he sets teh thermostat to nearly 80 at night! I wake up in sweats AND I sleep with a window open!!

Anyway...I'll be in town on the 24th if you need any help doing some last-minute moving. Chat w/ you soon!
