What is really funny .. and I am serious about this ... I was opening a bag of Starbucks beans this morning and I struggled with it ... eschewed the scissors lying near at hand ... and when the seal gave way ... well, I was able to keep the beans from flying everywhere.

Then I remembered your fic. Hah! The coffee maker (not broken (or even damamged ;-)) brewed the brew.
