Hah, someone else who hasn't bothered to upgrade from Panther! Shoot, this doesn't bode well for my clip-making, then. :( Maybe I can find something for Windows or FreeBSD though (I used to have even more gratuitous operating systems lying around than that! :D). Hmm, if I find a command-line tool for FreeBSD I should be able to get it to compile on OSX too... maybe that'll work!

Well if it's any consolation I didn't come across anything that would do what I need it do for Tiger either. ;-) Also, if it's a DVD that's split into reasonably sized chapters it's no problem. Run it through Handbrake and then toss it into Streamclip and you can trim off whatever excess you may have at either end of the clip. However, when it's a DVD that is a single chapter, that becomes more problematic as I don't really want to have to rip an entire two and a half hour show just to trim out a five minute dance. That and I think my poor iBook might implode if I even tried.
