Lestat III: Letters to Lestat

Feb 24, 2008 20:23

Happy really late birthday to alligatorandme!!!!

Yes, this is your birthday cartoon from 2006, I would say based on content. It is what could happen if Lestat ran into the Broadway revival of Les Miserables. Or at least a certain cast member (and no, not Trafton).

And featuring our very own alligatorandme! )

les miserables, lestat, stick figures

Do you want me to sign it and send it to you so it can compete with Shelley's autographed furniture? Ok, I know who would win that one.

If you like. And I'm really not sure because their awesomeness is so varied and different. ;-)

Well, it's your birthday present. You can have it however you want it. If you want it at all seeing how late it is.

Well, Leanna writes a letter asking if Lestat would take care of Daphne, so he goes and bites her. Does that make sense at all? And the Javert is vampire!Javert, who is Lestat's parole officer from previous comics. It's so complicated.

See, I wasn't sure why Javert is vampire!Javert. And I was wondering why Lestat took out JOJ and is now attacking Judy Kuhn. I fail at time-travelling? Either that or I've blocked Daphne's Fantine from my mind and it just never occurred to me. XD

Well, as I tried to point out that this was done back in 2006 at the beginning of the run. ::sigh:: I'm so slow! If I did it on time, then there wouldn't have been all of this confusion. Though, I doubt we would have known each other, then.

Is that Zoe or Connor on my bed? :-)

I think it was an attempt at Zoe. But, with my drawing skills, it could be anything!

Hi there! I stumbled upon your journal via stayinmylife. Would you mind if I add you? We seem to have quite a bit in common in regards to our choice in musical theater, our love of countries in the UK (replace Wales with Scotland and that is me as well), but also the fact that you are a historic preservation major looking for just the right grad school. That is pretty much where I am. I have a BA in History and have spent the past 3 years trying to figure out what to do with it. I would really love to go the route of museum studies/public history/preservation but am currently psyching myself out that I will spend all of the time and expenses for a MA and then not be able to find a job out in the great, wide world. Also, I just love the stick figures. :)

I just added you, though, I don't know, you might not want to be friends with me anymore. This is an example of why I should attempt to update my profile. Because, yeah, I guess between writing that and now, I have managed to attend and graduate for graduate school. ::hangs head in shame::

I attended grad school for archival management (thinking I could combine my love for all things historical as written documents), but, in order to pay college bills, I'm now working as a reference librarian at a public library. Though, I at least get to do some historical research for various patrons. Hoorah!

So, if that doesn't scare you off. Welcome! We do seem to have quite a bit of interests in common.

Ha, no worries. My profile is only updated because I get really bored at my to-pay-the-bills job which I despise. Hence the reason why I am so tempted to go to grad school and attempt to put my history degree to use. But, I tend to be a pessimist about things like that and keep telling myself, "yeah right, like that will ever happen."

I don't scare that easily. :)
