Thank you. I saw your quote on the main LJ page and liked what I read. :) I have a new kitten, 7 mths old, and I do flood LJ w. his photos. We lost 4 pets in a year from old age and health issues and needed a new life and spirit in our house of grief.
"Don't belittle people's fears - fear of what may happen to themselves and the fear for the people they know and love. It's unconscionably rude."
You're definitely been on the list! This was from back when I set it to private and only allowed friends to read instead of spewing everything out public - early days of LJ and not knowing better, ha!
slowly losing my mind. this week has been a pip. he fell, again, and i have no idea how long he was on the floor (it was at about 0500 when i got up to check on him, and found him on the floor. he had no idea, either, but he was busily "examining" the footrest of his chair, "as long as he was already there"... he's really been derailed by this med change, and so far, his hallucinations are only getting worse. he's been restless, and spent the whole afternoon mowing the lawn that had just been mowed by the SIL. the cars/keys are still a continual battle, and nights are more unpredictable--he gets lost, trying to get back to his chair from the bathroom. it's about 6 foot journey.
other than that, mrs. lincoln, how did you like the play?
You are in my prayers! My FIL went through a similar thing and I remember going over in the middle of the night to help my MIL!! Do you keep in touch with his doctor to advise them of his current condition?
