So much free time I almost don't know what to do with myself

I have three days off this week.  THREE DAYS!  . . . Not, like, in a row or anything, but still.

This is a delightfully unexpected amount of free time, and since they're coming every other day through Friday, the days I am working become much easier to bear. XD  As I am also feeling besieged by a sudden burst of domesticity, I plan to spend a good ( Read more... )

*checks map*

I'm pretty sure Ireland is too far away from Kansas. :( BOO, GEOGRAPHY.

And never fear, there will be plenty of writing going on as well. XD Though probably not anything I'm supposed to be writing, because I'm self-destructive like that.

I'm sorry, I was going to respond to this and then I got busy giggling helplessly at your icon. XD

Okay for serious (and not so srs) I cannot stop laughing at my icon. Like, every time I see it I just start giggling like I'm missing half a brain. I'm considering changing Chinchillin' default to REJOICE, because I mean... come on... LOOK. AT. IT.

I think my favorite thing about it (out of, um, many O_O) is the look on his face, like, "WTF . . . what does that even mean it makes no sense!"

I totally know what you mean about staggered days off making the rest of the week easier. I had a boss once at Barnes and Noble who thought everyone wanted a "weekend" so would put both of our days off together. I finally asked him to please start splitting my days off because 5 days in a row on your feet with customers? IS HARD.

Also, SPAGHETTI! YUM!

Uggghhhh, 5 days in a row is KILLER. I have four coming up that I'm not looking forward to. My poor friend Erin, meanwhile, somehow got put down for NINE DAYS in a row. Including all of the Memorial Day sale. And she's pregnant. I'm not quite sure how she hasn't either collapsed or gone on a murderous rampage.

YOU SHOULD TOTES COME VISIT AND EAT SPAGHETTI WITH ME!

Yeah, I'm quite enjoying this "work a day, have a day off" action I've got going on right now. XD And in addition to the spaghetti I'm making tomorrow, I have homemade macaroni and cheese in the oven right now. I SHALL LIVE ON PASTA FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS, AND MY ARTERIES WILL TURN TO STONE! Totally worth it. -_-
