Hee. Well, the second one was my favorite for a very long time; now it's tied with Blood Rites (#6), Dead Beat (you'll know why when you get close to the end), and Small Favor. OMG I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH.

It's sitting on my bed next to me RIGHT NOW. o.o But I can't start reading until I've beta'd this chapter. (1lostone, if you're reading this, so great is my love for you.)

I have an unholy love for Dead Beat - the zombie dinosaur KILLS me with joy. *iz ded*

I have the book club omnibuses (THANK YOU EBAY) and the civer for th third has Harry riding the zombie t-rex. When I try to explain why I love this series so much, I invariably grab that book - point to the cover and say "THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS!" :B

DEAD BEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAT! ZOMBIE T-REX! I saw it coming all of a page and a half before it happened and sat there going, "No . . . no way, he's not actually going to . . . is he . . . no . . . OH MY GOD HE DID HE ANIMATED SUE THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!"

Shit's about to get real in this book, yo. *straps in for the ride*

I did almost the exact same thing. I think it was one of the few times I actually - not laughed out loud while reading - but CACKLED. Like a maniac.

My ex-boyfriend once decided--I think while reading Dead Beat, actually--at about eleven at night, "Should I stop and go to bed? Eh, I'll just go to sleep when Harry sleeps."

Guess how that went. XD

I preordered my on Amazon and then they shipped it early (on the first) but I totally missed it when it arrived on Saturday (I was asleep when the post person came, ok, and while my doorbell is totally loud enough to throw me out of bed I wasn't cogerent enough to realize that somebody might actually want something from ME (sometimes people ring the wrong one).) I got an email from amazon and then went to the post office on Tuesday and behold I went home with my book! (I've almost finished, curse you Uni for starting Tuesday too, and curse me for not opening the door on Sat.) (After I got home with the book the post-person brought the card that said I could pick up a package at the office, at least I knew that thanks to the email.)
