In which I come to something of an epiphany (or perhaps several)

So, I've been thinking about the Mirrorverse, because that's apparently what I do now.  Specifically, I'm thinking about couples/romantic pairings within the Mirrorverse (see above).  The thing is, sex in this 'verse is one thing.  That can (and should) be all kinds of twisted and nasty and sort of depraved.  But a relationship is something of an ( Read more... )

I misread your comment as 'microverse' and was like, whoah... that's so ... existential... then I re read it and was much more interested. the Mirrorverse I can actually keep up with. Microverse is waaaay beyond me. :D

I'm kinda ashamed to admit that the Mirrorverse and Reboot confuse me. I have to wiki details each time.

The Mirrorverse could fit almost any 'royal' lifestyle at just about any time. Even unto the present. Just look at the disaster with Charles and Diana.

You have come up with a brilliant concept. I'll be looking forward to your stories.

Hee, thanks. I guess the reason I associate it specifically with the Borgias (as opposed, say, to the Medicis or the Tudors) is because while you have the backstabbing and the assassination and the apparent complete unconcern for anyone's life above your own ambition, there's also a decided sense of loyalty underpinning it all. There would have to be, or else Starfleet would never work. So there's a sense that it's every man for himself, until an outside force threatens and then all of a sudden the factions all band together and slaughter the enemy. Then when that's over, they go back to infighting.

Fun!

Lalala I was going even further back, thinking the Plantagenents. Eleanor, Henry, Richard, Geoffrey, and John. They were something else too!

Yes, they were all fun!
