*groan* That just made me flash back to my Dad and myself, after a "father/daughter date night" after my parents divorced. He brought me home (after having taken me out of town without notice) and parked at the end of the street, and proceeded to tell me the only reason he'd contacted me was because his lawyer had told him to do so..... Parents sometimes...I swear
lord-y lord-y... sounds a bit like my bunch, just minus the good income lol. I'm sorry to hear though, that you're having a hard time with your family. I know what that can be like. I wish I could help you out though, but alas, I can not, other then by wishing you good luck and hoping something will work itself out *hug*
Hope, but don't hold your breath. I was out of contact with my family for a good 15 years or so, and am back in touch with most of them now. You'd have thought some of them would've.... grown up. I actually did the whole hope and expectation and anticipation...and was bitterly disappointed. Mostly in myself though, for thinking it was possible. Some times it's best to just leave things as they are and strive to just be happy with yourself and those you choose to have in your life. *points to icon* I have that one for a good reason, because it's true ^_~

for some reason I've never measured up in his eyes...and I can't keep putting myself thru the endless pain of trying to figure out what I did wrong...
