Heartbreaking and touching. I feel so much sympathy for all of them, and you do a beautiful job of expanding on the hints as to their personalities given in canon, as you always do. This is the first time I've read a story of yours (or any such story, really) that gets inside Quincey's head, and it's perfect. I especially love the detail about Jack and Quincey not telling Arthur about their blood transfusions for Lucy, as that's a detail I've often wondered about in the book.
