Oh, poor Jack. I just want to hug him in this. It's a perfect backstory for him, and really does explain a lot of things about his personlity. I'm glad that he had Arthur at this point in his life, though that must have been a huge betrayal when the whole thing with Lucy happened.

And all the blood is so ironic.

I've just started reading this book, actually, that's why it caught my eye. Now I really need to finish it! I like your writing, so I think I'll keep an eye out for more. :)
