You just had to toss that ghost in at the end, didn't you :)

Well, this is Supernatural. *looks innocent* And while I've never stayed at the Palmer House long enough to notice any possible paranormal activity, it's gotten well known enough that the Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures investigated it in an episode. It seemed appropriate the boys would stumble across it. ;)

This was wonderful! Good seeing the boys out of the angst-fest that they seem to be stuck in with most writers. And I loved the helpful stranger; definitely Minnesota as I've had the chance to visit many times. Thankfully, never in winter *shivers*

Thanks! I love angst, but I do like the having the every day sort of adventures as well. Minnesota is certainly very much like that - I lived out in Maryland for a while and noticed the difference quite quickly. Winter - there's a reason it's famous here. *nods*

I loved this! I live in the West and enjoy traveling off the beaten path, and have gotten myself stuck in some crazy weather-caused situations. It makes me feel a little bit closer to the boys to see them having the same kinds of experiences. And they even found themselves a case! Great fic; thanks for sharing.

Thanks much for reading and commenting! I do a decent amount of driving and have dealt with all sorts of weather, so I felt that the Winchesters, who drive everywhere, must have had similar experiences.
