Yes indeed, a conversation they should have had--because you know they had to both be having flashbacks, just as you showed here. Very nicely done.

The episode ended, and my head canon said that this scene had to happen. I was a little surprised there weren't more tags for this episode, with the hurt comfort crowd the way they are... considering no one else beat me to writing a tag, I felt a little braver posting it!

This would have been a nice continuation of the episode...Dean had to have more of a reaction to greyhounds, and I like Sam' s feelings here too!

Thanks for reading and commenting! I was expecting a few more lines in the episode to get tossed out to recall No Rest for the Wicked, and even Abandon All Hope, but what we did worked. Then there was room for the fan fic writers. :)

This is great, I never imagined Sam having a grudge against hellhounds. I liked the hurt!Dean too (:

Sam certainly wouldn't have had as much of a grudge against the hellhounds as Dean would have, but Sam does know how to carry a grudge, and there is no way they would have been in that situation without flashing back.

Hurt!Dean is certainly something I love to read, but am not sure I can write well, so I'm glad you enjoyed that!
