Life kinda sucks right now, to be honest. Hate my roommate's boyfriend. First class pr*ck. (Hey, you asked and wanted to know how people's lives were. LOL)

Life is Blaaaaaaah. I do have a desk now, alas, my help (in the form of the neighbor kids) aren't home as promised to aid me in moving it in from the SUV right now, so I'm still sprawled.

Work is getting marginally better, or I'm getting resigned to my situation, can't tell which.

Ya wanna know what sucks about the whole economy/unemployment thing? Iowa's at it's highest rate of unemployment in 23 years, sitting at 6.7%, or thereabouts, and is still lower than the national average of 9.8% (or thereabouts). Blarg. I think I might be getting slightly interested in economics despite myself.

Actually, I know the national average is over 10% by now, and states like California are at 16% or so. We've shot up to 8% or thereabouts, if I remember right.

As for getting interested in economics, I think we have no choice but to do so in situations like this. Stupid economy. =_=
