Err yeah... this is why they're able to do the Celebrations there - it's CHEAP to have cons in late summer. Of course it also happens to be hurricane season, but why should anyone worry about that????

Yeah, that's the only reason I could think for continuing to hold cons there. Never mind that it's hurricane season, it's miserably hot, humid, and rainy as hell there when there's NOT a hurricane headed your way...

Looking at the current timeframe, it may end up being a good thing that I picked such an early flight out. Hopefully leave before the worst of it has a chance to snarl up everything.
