More of an amazingly piss-poor beta testing disguised as "early access". Site is down as much as it is up and not fully functioning then. But sorting and wand selection are lovely.
Must be hella cheap is all I can think. That, and the threat of bodily harm, is the only reason I can think of for repeatedly inflicting Florida summers on con goers.
I kinda wish they'd have Celebration in LA again. The weather was PERFECT, and the facilities were all right once you got used to them.
Whatever the reason, August in Orlando again = UGHHHHHH.
Yay for your sis! I remember how it was for me the first time going through the books, except she's lucky in that she doesn't have to wait for the next one to come out. :)
Ascendio had their plans set over a year ago - I still don't get ORLANDO IN JULY but then I don't get it in AUGUST either. :/
I was disappointed when I heard Celebration was in FL again - was so hoping it would be in California. I dunno what I'm going to do, if anything but there's no way I can do both. And Florida in the summer is not something that sounds like fun. But Nimbus was in July and I never went outside so... gah. I don't know!! *flails*
(Amusement parks in the summer is something I avoid as well so Disney doesn't even sound appealing to me in that humidity and the large crowds ... I may be willing to brave the HP park one day, though. I mean I can ride Star Tours anytime, really but Hogwarts doesn't have it's own Cali version ... :( But I dunno ... I guess money will decide for me. (Though I'm being pressured to go to both ... LOL)
Yeah. I just knew about Ascendio last year ... and Celebration wasn't announced until - I can't recall - a month or so ago? So ... I guess I was just HOPING if they did it in Florida again it would be the week before Ascendio or the week after but that's too much to hope for.
IDK what I'm going to do - if I go to any at all with money and such.
Mmm... Butterbeer. I found a decent recipe online & a friend and I tried it - it tastes pretty close to the one from the park. I'll have to see if I can dig it up again ... I saved the link but that was before my computer died... :/

In similar news, my sister just spent the last month reading all 7 books and LOVES HP. She has a new HP mood theme.

Even though the weather was miserable, I really enjoyed WWoHP. And hey, if it's hot, you can always grab another butterbeer. :)
