I'm even polishing up a couple of fics, one of them inspired by that glorious dance scene in DH 1.

Now, after that amazing "I'LL GO WITH YOU" moment in DH2... even more fuel for the fic. Just... GUH. My ship, why so awesome? Makes it so much more a bummer that you're not canon.

The Harry/Hermione dance in DH: P1 was great. In fact, it was one of the few things I liked about the flick.

I entered the fandom at exactly the same time. :-) And I've been feeling so nostalgic for the past couple of days, something that didn't happen to me for ages. I can remember that when GoF came out, I spent four Christmas days reading, only doing some very reluctant breaks for eating. :-) That feeling never came back, but still this "end of a period" feeling is making me sad, in a way.

I entered in that long dead period between GoF and OotP. I devoured the four books in a little over a week, then was all "WHERE'S MORE OMG I NEED MORE!" I miss that high.

I read the first 3 parts in Czech, so when GoF was released, I bought all 4 in English and had to force myself to read the first 3 first in order to learn the "terminology"... When I finally got to GoF it was Christmas, so I could really read from morning till evening and I don't think I've ever been in such a natural high from reading. Naturally, that feeling never came back, but I cherish the memory. :-)

Three fics - two H/Hr (one movieverse), one N/L friendship piece. They should be ready fairly soon, if I ever get more than five minutes to myself where I'm not exhausted. ;)
