I had so many happy-flail moments when I saw that picture yesterday, I swear I went running around, hands in the air, a la Kermit the Frog.

For the hair - I've taken physical description matches with movie adaptations with a grain of salt since Harry Potter no longer had green eyes. It just doesn't detract me that much.

She is everything I wanted and more - thankfully, some of the haters (at least on FB) have reversed position. Not all, I mean haters gonna hate, but it's getting a little better at least from what I can see. The again, I've stayed away from most THG comms, so that might not be too representative.

I loved Josh for Peeta from the second I heard he'd been cast. I can't wait to see what he looks like as Peeta.

Yeah, I'm not that hung up on an actor being a 100% physical match for my mental image. (Got used to that with HP too.) But for someone who started out a pale blonde, Lawrence has pleasantly surprised me in this area. (Frankly, I think she actually looks better with the dark hair!) And from everything I've read of her, she absolutely "gets" Katniss as a character, so my worries for her are pretty low.

I know next to nothing about Josh, but from everything I hear of him, I'm cautiously optimistic. Dye his hair blonde, and he's not too dissimilar from how I picture Peeta either.

Yeah - Josh just has that boy next door look. it's why I liked him from the start.

I don't know whether or not it's true - but the one part of the EW interview made me laugh. Apparently, her archery teacher kept getting frustrated with her inability to learn it, called her hopeless and threw up her hands. Jennifer then hit the target dead center. When asked how she did it, she said "You pissed me off!" Katniss/Haymitch much?

High hopes. I haz them.
